Filmmaker

I've been doing freelance film work for about 5 years now. I started taking film seriously about 3 years ago, when I joined a broadcast film class at my high school. I was exposed to a whole community of film-makers from all around Orange county through Cinematic Arts Experience and FilmEd* Academy of the Arts. Through FilmEd* and CAE, I have gained invaluable experience with cinematic cameras, like the Panasonic Vericam 35, Sony A7s and A7sii, and Canon 5D. I have also gained experience with editing with Adobe Creative Cloud software. I had previously edited with iMovie, then Final Cut, and finally Premiere, which is my editing platform of choice.
I started out wanting to go into cinematography, but the summer going into my senior year of high school, I discovered an interest in sound design and foley which eventually turned into a passion. I am currently a student at Cal State Long Beach and hoping to go into sound design and work for a big production company like Netflix or Pixar. Right now, I'm just trying to find work where I can and gain more experience in my desired field.
